Hydro-Seeding
Hydro-seeding is a practice of combining seeds, fiber mulch, fertilizer and water. The area is first graded to break up the top layer of soil. Then the mixture is sprayed directly onto the ground. This process is most beneficial to bare turf and new construction. Establishing a lush, healthy lawn may take one to two years.
Slice-Seeding
Slice-seeding is a cost effective solution for areas that need over-seeding or areas suffering from drought or disease. This practice will provide excellent results without the expense of removing the old lawn and adding topsoil.
Combined with Aeration, it makes your lawn healthier by improving air exchange between the soil and atmosphere while increasing the turf density. This combined process effectively fills in bare spots and improves density.
Sodding
Quality turf sod can form an established lawn within three to five weeks. Watering the sod, keeping it soggy to prevent drying, is a must. In some instances, watering the sod can be hard work but is the answer to an “instant lawn.”
